Nismo Sports Resetting Engine Transmission ECU Set

Nissan Motorsports International Co. Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo-to, Shinagawa-ku, Minamiohi; President: Yuichi Sanada) (NISMO) announces the launch of the new “NISMO Sports Resetting” for the Nissan GT-R (R35). The rental service, through NISMO EXPERT SHOPs and Nissan GT-R special service shop, commences on June 1st.^*

he “NISMO Sports Resetting” for the NISSAN GT-R (R35) (hereafter referred to as “Sports Resetting”) will increase torque in the low-mid speed range and improve shifting response into the lower gears through the development of special ECM^* and TCM^* units, providing complete tuning solutions to the engine and transmission management within the NISSAN quality assurance program. The “Sports Resetting” will enable sporty and safe stress-free driving at any racetrack or enclosed space.

As part of the rental service, during the “Sports Resetting” installation period, the vehicle will be covered by the NISMO guarantee. At the end of the rental period, subject to certification of the NHPC after re-installation of the original ECM and TCM, the NISSAN guarantee will be in effect (within the original vehicle guarantee period), and the car will be eligible for NISSAN GT-R approved used cars status.^* The original ECM and TCM fitted into customer’s vehicles will be kept safely by NISMO during the rental period, and refitted at the end of said rental period.
